I was waiting until I finally got the demo version of TWO up on Newgrounds before posting this, so here we go:

So stop by there and give it a vote if you have a sec ![]()
Anyway, on to the game. It's doing fantastic! When the game initially lauched on Xgen/Afro-Ninja.com, we peaked around 20,000 plays per day and leveled out to about 15,000. After uploading the demo to Hallpass and then Addictinggames, traffic shot to 350,000 plays in a day! This absolutely crushed the lobbies which required some re-figuring of the lobby set up and xgen ordering a new DB server to keep up. Traffic calmed down and now we're distributing the demo version out to even more sites
I said a little while ago that I was looking to take a break from the game- it's been more of a transition as I end up spending less and less time each day messing with Territory WAR issues. In the time in between initial launch and demo distribution, I've finished two new mini-projects that will be released in the coming months. I'm saving these to release for when I finish my website redesign (more like start on it). In addition to the site redesign, I have another point and click adventure game coming out soon that I'm trying to get finished up as well. THEN, after those two things are out of the way, I'd like to get back to working on another update to territory war- new levels, weapons, and modes.
I make it a point to read every suggestion and bug submitted to the forum, but I don't always respond. I enjoy general brainstorming of ideas but you have to understand that if I were to implement even half of the ideas submitted so far I'd be spending another year or so working on this game
I already have a pretty solid idea of what will be added next but that doesn't mean new suggestions can't influence that at all
For those unaware I don't actually work for Xgen- this game has been a partnership between the two of us. I'm an independent game producer with various projects that I work on from time to time. I just get the impression sometimes that people think my job is to work on and update Territory WAR, which isn't quite the truth. I doesn't mean I want to neglect the fans, it just means that for the sake of my creative spirit I have to keep my interests varied.
In addition, XGen is in the process of upgrading their MMocha software and creating much more detailed stats screens to be used with their games, so that should really help the replay value of TWO in the future
I appreciate everyone's interest and dedication in the game, especially those that come to this message board to discuss it! I understand that even an online game like this has limited replay value, so all I ask is that if you drift away from the community that you still come back and check in every once and a while, if you can. It would be a shame to miss new content ![]()

For those who don't visit Afro-Ninja.com religiously (and shame on you if you don't) this game will be called Escape from Camp Crystal Lake. A sequel to his older game Escape from Elm Street. If you didn't catch on to the point that the following two sentences contained links you can view the article here.
